Before I became a writing coach and tutor, I spent more than ten years teaching high school English.  While in the classroom, I specialized in helping writers become better critical thinkers and using narrative forms to effectively transfer ideas to the page. 

For the past ten years, I have worked as an English tutor, essay strategist, and writing coach, while also  balancing the responsibilities of a stay-at-home father.

As a writing coach, I help aspiring authors to organize their ideas into a narrative that fulfills and gives credibility to their vision. Many people have amazing ideas to share, it is only a matter of finding the right key to unlock the way forward. 

As a tutor, I focus my attention on developing individual action plans tailored to the goals and objectives of each student.

Coaching sessions can be developed to focus on a specific outcome, like crafting the perfect college essay or improving performance in class. If you are experiencing obstacles in your journey to becoming a better student, we can find strategies to help.
